| Students learned a lot about Monet by looking at books and videos with Ms. May. Our Monet finger puppet even came to visit to quiz them on some Monet trivia! |

| After studying Monet's paintings, we made a painting in his style. |
 |
| We included lots of different colors in our paintings of water, just like Monet did. |
 |
| Then we created lily pads from construction paper and oil pastels... |
 |
| ...and added some delicate tissue flowers on top! |
 |
| They turned out really good. |
 |
| We were proud of our work. |
